Autodialers

An autodialer is a device designed to call one or more telephone numbers if a problem occurs. The problem can be detected from one or more of the conditions monitored by the autodialer. These conditions could be from internal sensors: temperature, power failure, or the sound of a smoke detector, or from any external sensors like humidity, security, water incursion or just about any condition you could want to monitor.

When the autodialer makes its phone calls, it will tell the listener about the problem at hand.
