Smartvalves

In the "flow proportional" mode of operation, the Smartvalve automatically regulates the magnitude of gas flow rate through a gas feed system. It receives a signal from the transmitting device (water flow meter, etc.) and automatically positions the valve plug so the the gas feed rate is always proportional to the changing water flow rate.

In the "step rate control" mode, the Smartvalve responds to on/off signals (unpowered contact closures) supplied by up to four field-mounted pump circuits (well pumps, high service pumps, etc.). The Smartvalve receives the contact closure signals based on which, or how many, fixed speed pumps are running at any given time. The Smartvalve responds to these signals by automatically positioning the valve plug so that the correct amount of chemical is added to the system.
